I am a wife and mother of two boys that are fifteen and a half months apart. They are the best part of my day and also the most exhausting. I work full time and really needed one more thing to do so I started this blog. Obviously a joke, but this has been something I’ve had on my mind for a while wanting to start and on theme with building our happily ever after it was time to finally begin.
My husband and I purchased our current home at the end of 2024 and have been working to turn it into our dream home and property. We have one dog, two cats, and six chickens. Family is very important to us and their support is a big part of us being able to turn these dreams into reality. I am the youngest of three and wear the baby badge proudly.
A perfect day to me is spent outside and in the sun with my family. Catch me with a glass of wine and millennial lunchable (charcuterie board) for my happy place or the beach with a book.
After being in our house for a year and having our second child my husband and I decided it was time to start all the projects we have talked about and build the life we were dreaming of. No more unaccounted time spent on screens or being inside on a pretty day. What kind of life do we want for our children and for ourselves? What kind of life does God want for us?
This is probably the busiest season of life we will ever be in but also the sweetest. My goal each day is to put God first, slow down, be outside as much as possible, be intentional with where our money goes, and find joy in the chaos.
